Head coach Mario Cristobal and newly hired offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead spoke to the media on National Signing Day Wednesday morning. This was the first time Cristobal had addressed the media since Moorhead’s hire on Jan. 21 as well as Moorhead’s first press conference as an Oregon Duck.
After the departure of Marcus Arroyo, the Oregon Ducks have hired Joe Moorhead as their new offensive coordinator. As Arroyo left Oregon to take the head job at UNLV, Moorhead was a viable option after he was fired from the head position at Mississippi State.
All four of Oregon’s draft-eligible juniors elected to forgo the NFL Draft in a press conference late Monday morning. Defensive tackles Austin Faoliu and Jordon Scott, as well as defensive backs Deommodore Lenoir and Thomas Graham Jr., will return for their senior years.
