Report: Vin Lananna to step down as head coach of Oregon track and field, Robert Johnson will take his place
Friday afternoon, Curtis Anderson of the Register-Guard reported that associate athletic director Vin Lananna will no longer lead the Oregon track and field program. While the timing of the move is unknown, Lananna will remain with Oregon in a different role.
U.S. Olympic Team Trials day 8 features the heptathlon, semi-finals for the men’s and women’s 200, 400-meter hurdles, and 1500-meter runs. The day ends with the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase.
