Many Black students at UO feel uncomfortable and unsupported in a predominantly white university and city.


In fall of the 2020-21 academic year, 96 students, which represent about 0.5 percent of University of Oregon’s total undergraduate population, applied for the Dual Enrollment program. At a state level, enrolling in lower-division transferable community college courses is seen as a more financially viable option.
