Photos: Oregon Men’s Basketball — Ducks fall to the UCLA Bruins 63-82 in second round of Pac-12 Tournament
The Oregon men’s basketball team (23-8, 10-8 in Pac-12) take on the UCLA Bruins (23-8, 12-6 in Pac-12) in their second game of the Pac-12 tournament at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on March 13. The Ducks and Bruins split the season series 1-1, with the Ducks picking up a win in their second meeting of the season, 87-83 in double overtime. The Oregon bench is averaging 29.5 points per game, while the Bruins bench accounts for 28.7 percent of the teams scoring. The Ducks perimeter shooting has played a large part in the teams current eight game winning streak, hitting 71 shots from behind the arc (8.9 per game) in the past 8 games.
After being down by two points going into the half, 35-37, the Ducks could not get things together in the second half. They only shot 35.5 percent from the field, which let the Bruins run away with the game. The Ducks end their run in the Pac-12 Tournament and will not move on the the next round of play.
