Party patrol: 18 UO students cited on various charges Saturday night

Eugene police continued its patrol of the West and South University neighborhoods as well as downtown Saturday night from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. in an attempt to decrease alcohol- and party-related problems.

Police said there were significantly more party and alcohol-related violations Saturday night, including multiple disorderly party calls in West University.

Twenty-five people were arrested on charges including giving false information to police, prohibitive noise, DUII and open container. They were lodged in Lane County Jail.

Here are all the charges and citations:

  • 18 open container (9 University of Oregon students)
  • 5 minor in possession (5 UO students)
  • 7 prohibited noise (4 UO students)
  • 1 false information to police
