More than $50,000 in student funds were spent on the ASUO Executive's 24-hour library program at the beginning of the term, but are students using it?

Although the program got off to a slow start, it has picked up steam as of late.

Only 76 students entered the library after midnight during the first week of the term, averaging no more than six students per hour each night.

But the number of students entering after midnight this week had nearly doubled by

Wednesday night - 151 students already this week, and Thursday night's numbers hadn't been counted by press time.

The numbers also suggest that students already in the library at midnight have a tendency to stay there a few hours, though most are gone by 2 a.m.
