Armed with clipboards, pens and very vocal personalities, OSPIRG volunteers executed a day of voter registration action Thursday afternoon. Captain Vote and Democracy Girl, portrayed by Mike Reagan and Jessi Cotter, flew around campus instructing people on how to register using an SMS text messaging system. Daron Williams and David Gomez also sailed a "Vote Boat" along 13th street. "We're trying to motivate students to redeem and dictate their own lives," Gomez said.
