Jarvis Simmons, a DJ with KDUK 104.7, Arlyn Schaufler, a Duck Store merchandise manager, and an unidentified chicken watch University of Oregon senior Joey Mucha's egg drop during the Red Bull Gravity Challenge. Representatives from Red Bull were at the University Wednesday afternoon for the Red Bull Gravity Challenge. From the top of a crane, participants dropped their contraptions, which were designed to give the eggs inside safe landings. Based on creativity and the egg's survival, judges awarded the winning team two VIP passes to Red Bull Flugtag, an upcoming human-powered flying machine contest in Portland.
