The No. 46 Oregon women's golf team sits in a tie for fourth place with No. 12 Arizona in the Pacific-10 Conference Championships after the second round of play on Tuesday.

The Ducks' first-round 298 left them alone in fourth headed into the second round, two strokes behind No. 4 Arizona State for third, but a 302 in the second round leaves Oregon 10 strokes back of the Sun Devils for third and 14 strokes back of No. 2 UCLA in second headed into Wednesday's final round.

Sophomore Kate Hildahl led the Ducks with a one-under-par 70 Tuesday, bouncing back from a four-over-par 75 Monday. Tuesday's round lifted Hildahl from a tie for 18th place to a tie for fifth.

She was joined in the top 10 by freshman Kendra Little, who was alone in fourth place after her even-par opening round but slipped back to a ninth-place tie after shooting five-over-par Tuesday. Little's first round was her sixth round of par or better this spring and her 10th overall this year, as well as the 12th time that Little has led the Ducks in scoring this year.

Junior Cathryn Bristow's two four-over-par rounds of 75 have her in a tie for 17th. Sophomore Felicia Eastick is tied for 38th at 16-over-par.

Oregon's two-day total of 600 puts them six strokes ahead of No. 17 California in sixth place and 10 strokes ahead of No. 23 Stanford in seventh headed into the final round of the tournament, hosted by USC at the par-71, 6,060-yard Palos Verdes Golf Course.
