On a hot streak

Ducks have won 11 games in a row and sport a 13-4 record overall

The Oregon club baseball team (13-4 overall) continued its winning ways, adding three victories of 5-1, 16-2 and 13-0 in a sweep of Northern Pacific Conference rival Seattle University last weekend. The wins furthered the current streak to 11 games. During this period, the Ducks have outscored teams a combined 120-33.

Both men and women suffer big losses to California and Stanford

Winning the doubles points on Friday and Saturday against California and Stanford looked like it might set the Oregon men up for a successful Bay Area trip. Instead, the Ducks only won one other game and came away empty.

After winning two of three doubles games against Cal, only Francisco Gallardo at No. 2 singles and Mike Myrhed at No. 6 singles were able to win sets and the Ducks were defeated by the Golden Bears 6-1.

Ducks earn a sixth-place finish at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational

Oregon freshman Jack Dukeminier shot a one-over par, leading the Ducks to a sixth-place finish in the Arizona State Thunderbird Invitational on Sunday at the 7,057-yard Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz. Arizona State finished in first and second place with its 'A' and 'B' teams finishing with scores of 843 and 852, respectively.
