Oregon finished 10th in the Pacific-10 Conference and 97th out of 115 schools judged in the Gender Equity Scorecard, which rated Division I colleges and universities on their rates of female student athlete participation and, more importantly, funding. |

For the third straight season, Oregon and USC met in the final of the Pac-8 Conference tournament. The Trojans not only beat the Ducks in each of the previous two title game tilts, they won in overtime shootouts. This time, though, Oregon made sure there were no dramatics. |
Ducks claim eight provisional marks on weekendBoth the men's and women's mile relay teams qualify for indoor championships in Arkansasby Bryn JanssonTwo Ducks came within one second of breaking the four-minute mile barrier at Saturday's Husky Classic in Seattle, settling instead for regional qualifying marks. Freshman Matt Centrowitz passed most of the field in the final lap, finishing fourth in 4:00.26, just off of the NCAA automatic qualifying standard of 3:59. |
