Ladies: Eugene's most eligible bachelor

Jay Klein is not used to being the center of attention, but as Eugene's most eligible bachelor, he's getting plenty of it. "I've been jabbed in the ribs so many times by friends and coworkers I can probably loosen a rib and make a girlfriend out of it," Klein, associate director of development for the law school, said.

The Legislative Fiscal Office has decided to not alter its recommendation that the Oregon Legislature approve the University's $200 million bond request following the revelation of the 2004 ECONorthwest report. The 2004 report suggested an arena could earn about $4.

ASUO holds meeting to gear up for 2008 elections

Students interested in running for government seats must apply by the deadline of March 7

About 20 students came to an informational meeting about 2008 ASUO elections Monday. Some of them are already involved in student government. There will be another informal meeting on Feb. 29, and all candidates must file by 5 p.m. on March 7 in the ASUO office.
