Veterans groups are forming across the nation to support student soldiers as they transition from military service to the college campuses. The Veterans and Family Student Association, located in the EMU, has more than 70 members. Since 2005, the organization has been helping these students and their families cope with the challenges this transition brings. The group is working to engage the community by holding events to raise awareness about veterans issues.
