Summer Senate allocates some money, moves Childcare Subsidy money aroundby Jill AhoThe Summer Senate met Thursday to take care of some financial business. The Senate allocated $125 to the Multicultural Center to create a summer work study position. MCC Programs Adviser Steve Morozumi said he needed the money so he could "get some work done this summer," explaining that the MCC has been inundated with requests for training and other participation in coming events. |

Anti-war documentary to be shown tonight with question session afterwardby Laura PowersA free screening of the documentary "War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us to Death" will be held at 7 p.m. tonight in 150 Columbia. The 73-minute film is narrated by actor Sean Penn and is based on media critic and anti-war activist Norman Solomon's book of the same name. |
