Rising Up, Rhyming On

Rising Up, Rhyming On

The Kid Espi, a local, high-energy emcee and University student,

by Matt Tiffany

Humility is not the first word that comes to mind when considering The Kid Espi, especially when he grabs a microphone at a moment's notice, eagerly taking the stage in front of a crowd, no matter the size. He towers behind the mic, 6 feet, 4 inches of hulking lyricism, rhymes coursing effortlessly from his mouth.

In My Opinion

by Conner Jay

Good music is like a drug. Or, at least it always makes me want more. When it peaks its inebriation, you want to start a fight, steal someone's girl and slam another drink. The theater, Regal Cinemas Valley River Center Stadium 15, officially opens Friday, March 9, but beginning Monday the entertainment giant will offer movies, popcorn and soft drinks, which typically total nearly $15, for only $1 each, according to Regal Entertainment Group's press release.

by Lindsay Funston

Millions of people glued to the television Sunday night felt little disappointment by the time the 79th Academy Award's drew to an end. The talented A-list celebrities, glamorous couture and omnipresence of the nation's political face for global warming created a prestigious and… green event.
