Frohnmayer cleared again

The Oregon State Bar rejected an attempt to reverse the previous dismissal of ethics complaints against the University President

The Oregon State Bar closed the door for good early last week on the ethics complaints filed against University President Dave Frohnmayer. "This (complaint) has no merits and never had any merits," Frohnmayer said in an interview Monday evening. Associate economics professor Bill Harbaugh filed complaints with the Government Standards and Practices Commission and the Oregon State Bar in September 2006 alleging that Frohnmayer had failed to properly fill out his 2005 Verified Statement of Economic Interest form, an annual form that top ranking University officials each must submit to the GSPC.

ASUO Senate could forfeit responsibility for rec center

Today, the Student Senate will discuss changing the way the Student Recreation Center is funded. Senate Bill 28, which was sent to the Senate rules committee last week, requests that operational funding of the rec center be transferred to the administration.

Student groups don't show for PFC forum

Few students showed up Monday to discuss reforming the student program stipend model

On Monday night, the Programs Finance Committee hosted a forum to discuss the issue of possible reform to the model currently used to award pay to the directors and program coordinators of student programs and the student government. But out of the hundreds affected, only six students showed up.
