Students shouldn't put up with police harassment at games

I was present at the game on Saturday, against Washington, and I had a run in with the cops that was way above what should have happened. My brother was visiting and I had gotten him a student ticket. I got into the game, went over to the gate, and passed my student ID through the gate so he could use it. The cops saw me, and came over to talk to me about. Instead of being responsible, productive human beings and telling an 18-year-old, completely sober freshman in college about how it's illegal to pass ID's and all, they bombarded me with five cops and intimidated me. I posed no threat to the officers or the fans, yet for some reason it took five police officers to yell at me, get in my face and tell me to leave or they would arrest me. They harassed me because they wanted to show off their power, and because of that, I want everyone to realize that the police at the Duck games need to bring their act down and find the true criminals; not the freshmen who just want to go to the game. I hope the next person who is harassed by the police take it to the press, and therefore this can be stopped. Thank you.

its not the fact that its a crime, its the fact of the police getting up in peoples face for a reason that didnt need that much police force. you need 5 police men to take down a 6 foot 5 biligerant drunk, not a 5 foot nothing frosh who is sober who just wants to enjoy the game and isnt mouthing off.
