Tenants and landlords agree mold infestation is a problem; but who takes responsibility?

Senate meets to discuss budget plans

Each committee responsible in coming months for distributing allocated funds

Wednesday's ASUO Senate meeting was largely concerned with the budget models proposed by three major ASUO committees: the Programs Finance Committee, the EMU Board and the Athletics and Contracts Finance Committee. In total, the Senate approved almost $10 million in funding to the three committees.

UO receives conditional use permit

Decision is next step toward the proposed $200 million arena set to open fall 2010

After a five-month application process, the University has officially received the conditional use permit it was required to obtain before beginning construction on the proposed $200 million basketball arena. Receiving this permit puts the University - which has spent years planning the massive project amidst unexpected delays and local opposition - just weeks away from breaking ground on the site at the corner of Franklin Boulevard and 13th Avenue.
