Supports departmentalization of ethnic studies, believes students should play a role in recruitment and retention of faculty, supports reduced textbook cost program, peer writing collaboration center in English department.

Avid reader of campus news, dedicated to campus and issues that affect students, level-headed, president of groups in high school, president of residence hall as a freshman, member of Oregon Sailing Team, elected co-director of Clark Honors College student association.

How to increase interest in the ASUO to ensure quality candidates for open positions:
E-mail system, Web sites, weekly radio show, downloadable podcasts, all to increase student involvement.

Current student oversight of the Student Recreation Center:
Believes taking SRC off incidental fee will allow the ASUO to focus on student programs.

Student government expansion:
Absolutely, the changes will lessen the burden to the PFC and will increase the detail in which they examine budgets.
