Debate on Campus

Organizers of the Bower Aly High School speech and debate tournament said the competition was about much more than sharp speaking. Amy Bullock, president of the University forensics team that held the three-day event on campus last week for high school students, said good communication helps students in many parts of their lives. More than 400 students brought out their speaking and debate skills for the event.
